Two joint concentrators have won 2019 Hoopes Prizes for their senior theses: Chloe Brooks, English and Classics (“Was it for this . . . Lyricism and Narration in Virgil, Wordsworth, and Faulkner”), and Adrian Weickart, Classics and Government (“Ius migrandi? References to Ancient Rome in the German Public Debate on Policies and Practices Regarding Migrants, Refugees, and Asylum Seekers”).
