Preparing Your Manuscript

Upon acceptance, authors will be asked to revise their article in accordance with house style, as described in the HSCP Style Sheet. Please submit your final manuscript as both a Word document and a PDF.

Production

After you have submitted your final files, your manuscript will proceed to copyediting and no further changes will be possible. When you receive proofs, you will only be able to make changes to matters of fact or formatting.

Policy on Sharing Articles

If your academic institution maintains an open-access repository, you may contribute a PDF of your final article.

Authors may share their own manuscript versions of papers immediately after publication (either on their own websites or on sites such as academia.edu), but they may not share typeset versions (i.e., proofs) until three years after publication. The PDFs used for proofing and printing may be provided to authors for their personal use on the condition that they are not shared until three years after the volume is published.
