Sharon Zhou (’15) named one of MIT Tech Review’s “35 Innovators Under 35”

Alumna Sharon Zhou has been named one of MIT Technology Review’s “35 Innovators Under 35,” in recognition of her work developing ways to analyze the problems and benefits of emerging artificial intelligence systems. To learn more, read this brief description of Sharon’s work on generative AI.

Sharon was our first ever joint concentrator in Classics and Computer Science! For her senior thesis, Sharon developed Ingenium, a language learning app for Latin students. After graduating in 2015, Sharon went on to earn a PhD in Computer Science in Stanford.
