Research interests: Greek tragedy; gender & sexuality; feminist theory; familial dynamics in antiquity, especially mother-daughter relationships; reception studies, especially the reception of Greek tragedy in Latin American visual and performance arts; ancient Greek religion and cult activity; cultural heritage and preservation; community outreach to traditionally underrepresented groups in Classics
