Research interests: ancient Greece, sanctuaries, Greek religion, Dion, Macedonia, Dodona, Epirus, polifunctionality, landscape archaeology

Having read History at the Complutense University of Madrid (BA 2011), Diego decided to stay there for his PhD (2017) and at the same time read Classics at Autonoma University of Madrid (BA 2016). His main research is focused on Greek sanctuaries and the way its evolution was linked to the historical development of the regions where they were located.
