Nikos Gatsos Archive Finds New Home at Houghton

June 12, 2018

Harvard Library has aquired the archive of Greek poet and lyricist Nikos Gatsos (1911-1992). The acquisition is the result of the efforts of Panagiotis Roilos, the George Seferis Professor of Modern Greek Studies and Professor of Comparative Literature; Rhea Lessage, Librarian for Hellenic Studies and Coordinator for the Classics at Widener Library, and CHS Associate for Collaborative Library Initiatives; and Leslie Morris, Gore Vidal Curator of Modern Books & Manuscripts at Houghton Library. Thank you to those responsible for bringing this invaluable resource to Harvard, to the benefit of faculty, students, and researchers for years to come.
