Charles Bartlett (G5) will speak at a conference (January. 26–27, 2016) in New Zealand at the University of Auckland: "Politics and Power in the Early Roman Republic (509 - 264 BC)." Charlie's paper, a product of his research on Roman law, is entitled "The gens and private property in the early Republic."
